Radio Imaging Technology equips students with the skills to diagnose various diseases and disorders in the human body using different imaging techniques like Modern         X-Ray, Tesla HR CT scan, and 1.5 Tesla MRI.

Programs Offered

Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology – B.MRIT

Duration 4 years, including 1 year of internship
Eligibility
  • The candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • Admission shall be granted based on merit obtained in the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination, in accordance with the applicable admission guidelines.
  • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or shall complete 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the first year of the undergraduate Allied and Healthcare programme.
  • Lateral Entry (Direct Admission to Second Year/3rd Semester): Candidates who have completed a Diploma in the same discipline from a recognized institution are eligible for admission to the second year (3rd semester), subject to the applicable regulatory guidelines.

Master of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology – M. MRIT

Duration 2 Years
Eligibility
  • Candidates must have passed a Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (B.MRIT) / Bachelor of Medical Radiodiagnosis and Imaging Technology (BMRIT) / B.Sc. Radiological Technology / B.Sc. Radiography / B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology / B.Sc. Radiography & Imaging Technology or any other equivalent course with B.MRIT.

                                    or

  • Sc. Life Sciences with a PG Diploma / /Advance Diploma in the related field (2 yrs) on regular mode from a recognised university
  • Admission shall be granted based on the entrance examination conducted, in accordance with the prevailing admission regulations.
  • Postgraduate entrance criteria require compulsory registration as a member of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP).
